Hi everyone! Here's another Tunisian Pattern and tutorial! I love the Tunisian cross-stitch, so I made a scarf while "swatching" the stitch.

ch26 or any even number of sts. Work a foundation row as follows: insert hook in 2nd ch from hook, yo, pull up a loop. Continue picking up loops in every ch st. (26 sts)
note: this is the width of the scarf. ch more sts for a wider scarf, less for a more narrow width.


RetP: ch1, [yo, pull through 2 loops]. Rep between [ ] until 1 loop on your hook.

FwP: sk 1st (edge) vertical bar, [sk next vertical bar, tss in next vertical bar, tss in skipped st] Rep between [ ] to last st. work end st.





RetP: ch1, [yo, pull through 2 loops]. Rep between [ ] until 1 loop on your hook.
repeat pattern
rep row 1 for 173 rows or until the desired length.
sk 1st (edge) vertical bar, [sk next vertical bar, insert hook in next vertical bar, yo, pull through st and loop on hook, insert hook in skipped st, yo, pull through st and loop on hook] Rep between [ ] until end st. sl st through both looks on end st.



Work end stitch (through 2 loops)

finishing
fasten off & secure ends. block as desired.

If you want to add fringe, it'll help with the curl and I love fringe. This yarn is actually bulky weight but I used the same hook size (7mm). I used Scarfie (2 balls).
