Knit Seed Stitch Pattern & Tutorial

When I first learned how to knit, the one stitch I fell in love with was the Seed Stitch. It has so much texture and was a lot easier to knit than I had thought. When I found out how easy it was, i loved it even more!

To work the seed stitch, cast on any odd number of stitches and you simply alternate a knit and a purl stitch.

Working in Rows

When working in rows, it's the same repeat for each row.

k1, *p1, k1*. Rep from * to end.

Working in the Round

When working in the round, it's a 2 round repeat.

Round 1: k1, *p1, k1. Rep from * around.

Round 2: p1, *k1, p1. Rep from * around.

I'm using a US 15 (10mm) Handmade Knitting Needles from Art of Siberia. I also ordered a couple of crochet hooks! https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtOfSIberia

The wool i'm using in the videos are from Knit Picks & it's their Super Bulky Tuff Puff in Serrano.
