I'm not sure what the name of this beautiful stitch is but its sorta like a fan. The stitch pattern itself is very easy and only has 4 rows for the repeat.

ABBREVIATIONS
co – Cast on
k – Knit
p – Purl
yo - Yarn Over
k2tog - Knit 2 Stitches Together
st(s) – Stitch(es)
rem – Remaining
rep – Repeat
PATTERN
Cast on in multiples of 18 + 1
Row 1: Knit all stitches
Row 2: Purl all stitches
Row 3: *k1, [k2tog] 3 times, yo, [k1, yo] 5 times, [k2tog] 3 times. Repeat from * to end. End with k1.
Row 4: Knit all stitches
Repeat Rows 1-4 until desired size. It's mindless knitting with the exception of row 3. Once you get the hang of row 3, it really is mindless knitting!
