Knit Fall Pullover Sweater Pattern Release

Updated: Apr 19, 2019

Just released is the Knit Fall Pullover Sweater. Can you tell that I love oversized or loose sweaters? Yes! I've never been fond of fitted sweaters. Partly because it doesn't hug me in the right places! ha!

For this pattern, I used Lion Brand's Color Made easy, 100% Acrylic, Bulky weight yarn. I used a larger needles size for a looser fabric. I decided that I would design a simple top-down Raglan style sweater with no body shaping and minimal shaping at the sleeves to taper off down to the cuff.

I love using larger needles/hooks if I can get away with it.

The construction is simple and there are no shaping in the body of the sweater. The body is worked from the top-down. This is a Raglan Style pullover. You can try it on as you knit which most people love so even if you're following this pattern (or any) you can try it on as you knit and adjust accordingly.

The majority of the sweater uses stockinette stitches (knit stitches in the round) so it's easy to work with and it works up pretty fast in bulky weight! The This would be a great beginner's pattern.
