COLLAR | US 13/9mm Needles

co 28 (30, 34, 36, 40, 40, 44, 44, 44) sts. Join the round careful not to twist your sts. PM here to mark the beginning of the round.

Rounds 1-4: [k1, p1] Rep between [ ].

Customize it: Adjust number of rounds for the desired size of collar.

YOKE | US 15/10mm Needles

Round 1: k5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7), pm, k5 (5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7), pm, k8 (10, 10, 12, 14, 14, 16, 16, 16) for front, pm, k5 (5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7), pm, k5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7).

Round 2: [k to st before marker, m1L, k1, sm, k1, m1R] 4 times, k rem sts.

Rep Round 2 in stockinette sts until you have the desired width at the waist on the FRONT section or approx. 18 (20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34) inches wide ending on the right side.

Customize it: Try it on as you knit for desired body circumference. Stop sooner if you feel it is getting too big. Continue repeating Round 2 if you feel it is not large enough.

You will stop increasing for the rem of the poncho. Do not remove markers for this section.

Round 1: k every st (stockinette).

Rep Round 1 until the desired length or until approx. 24 (25, 25, 26, 26, 27, 28, 28, 29)” keeping in mind the hem is approx. 1.5”.

Customize it: The length does not include the 1.5” hem and the 2” cuff. Continue repeating for desired length.

HEM | US 13/9mm Needles

Round 1: [k1, p1]. Rep between [ ] around. If you have an odd number of sts, p the last 2 sts together so that you now have an even number of sts.

Rounds 2-4: [k1, p1]. Rep between [ ] around.

Customize it: This is the width of the hem. Continue rep for desired width.

Using the sts markers as a guide, find the center of the sleeve section. Mark off 20 (20, 22, 22, 22, 24, 24, 24, 24) sts for the cuff. (example for marking 20 sts: mark 10 sts to the left and right of the center of the sleeve section).

Customize it: This is the circumference for the cuff. Adjust number of sts to mark off according. Continue rep for desired width

[Bind off until next marker, remover marker, bind off to next marker, place cuff sts on stitch holder or scrap yarn, bind off** until next marker, remove marker]. Rep between [ ] ending the rep at **

CUFF | US 13/9mm 16” Needles

Pick up the held sts picking up 2 additional sts. You will treat these 2 loops as one st and knit/purl them together since picking up 2 sts results in an odd number of sts and you need an even number of sts.

I recommend picking up sts in between the next 2 sts (see photo below).

Rows 1-5: k the k sts and p the p sts. Your cuff may start with a k or a p st depending on how many sts you blocked off. Bind off after the 5th round.

Note: Remember to k/p the 2 (4 total) loops you picked up together as if they were one st.

FINISHING

Weave in any loose ends. Block as desired.
