Please watch the videos below for a demonstration on how to knit the Cable 3 Right (C3R) & Cable 3 Left 3L) stitches. I demonstrated with and without a cable needle.
STITCH PATTERN (With cable needle)
Cable 3 Right (C3R): Working with 3 stitches, slip 2 stitches on to cable needle and place in the BACK of your work. Knit the next stitch on your left hand needle. Then knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle.
Cable 3 Left (C3L): Working with 3 stitches, slip 1 stitch on to cable needle and place in the FRONT of your work. Knit the next 2 stitches on your left hand needle. Then knit the stitch from the cable needle.
STITCH PATTERN (Without cable needle)
Cable 3 Right (C3R): Working with 3 stitches, drop 2 stitches careful not to tug it (or it might unravel). Knit the next stitch on your left hand needle. Then place the 2 dropped stitches back on your left hand needle from the back of your work. Then, knit these 2 stitches.
Cable 3 Left (C3L): Working with 3 stitches, drop 1 stitch careful not to tug it (or it might unravel). Knit the next 2 stitches on your left hand needle. Then place the dropped stitch back on your left hand needle from the front of your work. Then, knit this stitch.
