I make a lot of beanies or cowls so I knit in the round almost all the time. One of the first things I learned was to join my cast on stitches using the invisible method. I honestly don't remember what my work looked like when I joined with other methods in the beginning.
Today's tutorial will show you how to join your round using the Invisible joining method. It's not as hard as it seems and makes for a nice, clean join. Give it a try!
The important thing to remember is that whatever pattern you're working on, you'll need to cast on 1 more additional stitch. The reason for the additional stitch is because this stitch will be dropped off the needles. For example, if a pattern states to "Cast on 80 stitches", you would cast on 81. Once you drop that stitch (watch the video), you will end up with the required 80 stitches.
