Hi there! Today's Stitch Video is the Extended Single Crochet Stitch. I designed a Sunflower Bag recently that uses the Extended Single Crochet Stitch so I wanted to provide as many videos as I can to assist with anything that I design.

In the video I worked 1 row of single crochet first however, you can start working the Extended Single Crochet in the chain stitches. This tutorial is to demenstrate how to work the actual stitch.
An Extended Single Crochet Stitch is worked just like the single crochet stitch but with one additional step.
Extended Crochet Stitch
Insert hook into indicated stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through ONE loop (this is the additional step), yarn over and pull through remaining 2 loops.
