Crochet Fan Stitch Pattern: A Step-by-Step Tutorial
Hi everyone! Here's another Crochet Stitch Pattern & Tutorial! I'm not 100% sure what the actual name of this stitch is so if you know, please let me know so I can update the blog. I found this stitch in a stitch book that was vague in the name of the stitch :(

Abbreviations
ch - Chain
tch - Turning Chain
st(s) - Stitch(es)
hk - Hook
dc - Double Crochet
sp - Space
sk - Skip
rep - Repeat
bet - Between
Yarn
I used Big Twist Value (from Joann Stores)
Crochet hook
I used Furls Crochet Hook: US I/5.5mm
My favorites are Tulip Etimo and Clover Amour

Pattern Instructions
Row 1: [dc, ch2, dc] in the 6th ch from hook, sk 3ch, [1dc, ch2, 1dc], Rep from until last 3 ch. End with sk 2ch, 1dc in last ch st, turn.
Row 2: Ch3 (counts as 1dc throughout pattern), sk first 2dc, 4dc in ch2 sp, sk 2dc. Rep from . End with sk last dc, 1dc in ch, turn.
Row 3: Ch4 (counts as 1dc + ch1), 1dc in sp bet first 2dc, sk 4dc, [1dc, ch2, 1dc] in sp before next group of 4dc. Rep from . End with [1dc, ch1, 1dc] in sp before tch, turn.
Row 4: Ch3, sk first dc, 2dc in ch1 sp, sk 2dc, 4dc in ch2 sp. Rep from . End with 3dc in ch4 sp, turn.
Row 5: Ch3, sk first 3dc, [1dc, ch2, dc] in sp before next group, sk 4dc. Rep from . End with sk last 2dc, 1dc in sp bet last dc and tch, turn.
Repeat Rows 2 - 5 until you’re happy with the size.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
