My son has a birthday party next week for a classmate & friend. I wanted to make her something special. I don't get to make a lot of girly things so I was excited to use some girl colors. I had the Red Heart Super Saver Economy Prints in Pink Camo and it's so pretty.
Since it is spring and the weather is warming up, I wanted to make her a lacy infinity scarf. You can always leave it as a scarf and not seam the ends together. Add fringe if you like! Up to you!
It's very easy to customize the width and length or circumference of the scarf. The stitch pattern is in multiples of 6, with just a 2 row repeat. Fun right!?

Lacy Infinity Scarf Video Tutorial
Written PATTERN
ch 30 its or in multiples of 6 sts
Foundation: 1tr in 6th chain from hook, ch3, sk2 sts, 1sc in next st, *ch3, sk2, [1tr, ch2, 1tr] in next st, ch3, sk2, 1sc in next st. Rep from * until last 3 sts. End with ch3, sk2, [1tr, ch1, 1tr] in last st.
Row 1: ch5, turn your work. 2tr in the next ch1 sp (see first photo), ch1, *[2tr, ch1, 2tr] in the next ch2 sp, ch1 (see 2nd photo below). Rep from * until last set of tr sts. End with [2tr, ch1, 1tr] in last space (between the ch5 st and the tr).
Row 2: ch5, turn your work. 1tr in the same st, *ch3, 1sc in next ch1 sp, ch3 [1tr, ch2, 1tr] in the next ch1 sp, ch1. Rep from * until last set of tr sts. End with [1tr, ch1, 1tr] in the 4th chain from the ch5 st on previous row (see photo below).
Repeat Rows 1 & 2 until desired size ending after Row 1 (for flatter edge).
Finishing
With wrong side out, fold short end of scarf together. Work slip stitches along short ends to seam the edges.
Optional, You can leave it as it without seaming it for a long scarf.
