Hi there! Today's Stitch Video is the Crochet Lace Stitch. I'm not sure the actual name of this stitch but it is lacy :)
Here is a list of what I used in my video tutorial.
ABBREVIATIONS
ch – Chain sl st(es) – Slip Stitch(es)
st(s) – Stitch(es) yo – Yarn Over sk – Skip ea – Each sc – Single Crochet dc – Double Crochet rep – Repeat
Special Stitch
Puff Stitch – [yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull up a tall loop] 3 times. Yo, pull through all 7 loops on hook. Ch1 to secure.
Foundation: ch in multiples of 6 + 4
Row 1 (rs): 1sc in 2nd ch from hook and in every ch across.
Row 2: ch3 (counts as dc throughout pattern), turn, 1dc in every st across. Row 3: ch1 & turn, 1sc in the first 2 sts, *ch3, sk2, 1puff st (see special sts), ch3, sk2, 1sc. Rep from * until last st. End with 1sc in 3rd ch of turning ch. Row 4: ch5 (counts as 1dc + ch2), turn, 3sc in puff st, *ch3, 3sc in next puff st. Rep from * to last 2 sts. End with ch2, 1dc in last st. Row 5: ch1 & turn, 1sc in the first st, 2sc sts in the ch2 sp, *1sc in ea of the next 3 sts, 3sc sts in the ch3 sp. Rep from * until last 4 sts. End with 2sc sts in the ch2 sp, 1sc in the 3rd ch of turning ch.
Rep rows 2-5 until desired size.
