Crochet Checkered Tunisian Stitch PAttern & Tutorial

Hi! Today's pattern and video tutorial is the Checkered Tunisian Stitch. I hardly have time to pick up my hook/needles recently so I wanted to work on small projects like stitches to provide you with more content so if there are any stitches you'd like to see, please let me know!

In the video, I used Knitter's Pride Ginger Tunisian Interchangeable Crochet hooks. Here are some other hooks you might like...

I really appreciate you posting these quick tutorials when you're short on time – it's perfect for people like me who only have a few minutes to sneak in some crochet. The checkered pattern is so classic, and I can already imagine using it for a dishcloth or even a small baby blanket. It reminds me of some pixel art I saw recently, with the little squares looking a bit like a really zoomed-in version of, say, something rendered in... crazy cattle 3d! Haha, okay maybe that's a stretch, but the blocky texture definitely made me think of that. Thanks for sharing!
