Crochet a Cleaner Foundation (How to) Video Tutorial

Today's tutorial is on an easy trick to get a cleaner look when working into your foundation chain. If you're not working in the round, mostly likely you will start with chain stitches for a crochet project. Then next, you crochet into your chain stitches to start your first row.

Look at the photo above, the white piece was worked normally in the chain stitches. The blue piece was worked into the "hump" in the back of the chain stitches which created the "V" shape stitches you see on top of your work.

Often times, i'm working on a cowl and I want the bottom (my chain stitches) to match the top where I will stop my work... This little trick is simple but has a big impact on the look of your work! Sometimes, the little things makes me happy :)
