I made this for the cute little girl wearing it during a camping trip. She's so adorable! On to the pattern then!

Instructions
Sizes 12m (18m, 24m, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16)
Starting with US13/9mm Needles
Co 32 (34, 36, 40, 44, 46, 48, 50, 54, 56, 60) add stitch marker and join careful not to twist sts.
Rounds 1- 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6): *k1, p1. Rep from * around.
Switch to US15/10mm Needles
Round 1: k8 (8, 9, 10, 11, 11, 12, 12, 13, 14, 15) sts, pm, k16 (17, 18, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30), pm, k rem sts.
Round 2: *k until 3 sts before marker. Work the next 3 sts without removing it from the LH needle [k3tog1, yo2, k3tog, yo, k3tog]. Remove from LH needle, sm, sl the next 3 sts kw4 from LH to RH needle and then place the 3 sts back on the LH5 needle. This twists the 3 sts. Work the next 3 sts without removing it from the LH needle [k3tog tbl, yo, k3tog tbl, yo, k3tog tbl]6. Remove from LH needle. Rep from * once. k rem sts.







Rounds 3-5: k all sts.
Rep rounds 2-5 (ending on round 3) until length measures approx. 9.5 (11, 15, 15, 16.5, 17.5, 19, 21, 23, 24, 25) inches. Measure from neck down on shoulder side. Adjust length of poncho as desired.
Switch to US13/9mm Needles
Fold poncho in half so that the decorative raglan is on the front and back of poncho (not sides). Mark the center (for sleeve cuffs) between the decorative raglan sts, on the side edges. Make sure you have the same number of sts on the front and back.
Ribbing: Work 1- 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6) rounds of 1x1 ribbing: *k1, p1. Rep from * around.
Bind all sts off if you are NOT adding sleeves/cuffs.
Set up for sleeves (optional): *Bind off until 7 (7, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 9, 10, 10) sts before (side) marker. Continue 1x1 ribbing for the next 14 (14, 14, 14, 16, 16, 18, 18, 18, 20, 20) sts** & place these sts on a separate needle (or scrap yarn). Rep from * to ** once.
CUFFS | US13/9mm Needles
The cuffs are worked back and forth & seamed together.
Rows 1-5: k the k sts & p the p sts. Bind off after desired size. Rep for other side with the sts you placed on a separate needle.

FINISHING
Seam the short ends on the wrong side (inside) with a whip stitch (or desired method). Weave in all ends and block as desired.
