Today's pattern is on the Chunky Ash Cowl. It measures approximately 34 inches in circumference and 12 inches tall (height). The height is easily adjustable. You can also adjust the circumference by casting on more or less stitches in multiples of 3.
This was the last Cowl I made for all the teachers last holiday. I originally bought this yarn because it was on sale. I couldn't picture using it for anything but as a hoarder, I couldn't resist buying it.

2" = 4 sts | 6 rounds
Instructions:
Co 69.
Add stitch marker and join, careful not to twist your sts.
Round 1-3: *k2, p1. Repeat from * around.
Round 4: knit all sts
Repeat Round 4 until cowl measures approx. 11 inches or as tall as you’d like (easily adjustable).
Repeat Rounds 1-3 to match the ribbing from the start of your cowl.
Cast off & weave in all ends.
My goal was to use up my 2 skeins so I stopped at 11".
If you want to adjust your circumference, cast on more or less sts in multiples of 3.
