Crochet Scrunchies Free Pattern

Hi everyone! Today's pattern is the Crochet Scrunchies! I made these for my nieces and myself during the holidays. They're quite easy to make and take no time at all!

ch – Chain
st(s) – Stitch(es)
sl st – Slip Stitch
sc – Single Crochet
hdc – Double Crochet
beg – Beginning
rep – Repeat
SKILL LEVEL – Intermediate
INSTRUCTIONS
Fasten onto to the hair tie.
Ch1, work sc sts (approx 30 sts) around the hair tie working more sts than it will fit (creating the wavy look). Join with a sl st to the first sc.
Note: You can use hdc sts for a larger scrunchie (left scrunchie in the below photo).
FINISHING
Fasten off leaving a long tail. Weave the tail through the sts using your tapestry needle. Pull tail to close and tighten hole. Secure and weave in all ends.
