This is another pattern that I sorta just made up as I go. I really love Coboo the yarn, 50% Cotton & 50% Bamboo. It's a category 3 but it didn't feel like it to me. I really love the softness of it. If you're not used to working with yarn that has strands which are likely to split, you'll want to substitute with another type of yarn.
I originally played with a different stitch but then ripped it apart and decided to use this fun stitch at the bottom. I had all the different colors so I tried to incorporate it in as best as I could! I think it would look great with less colors on top and maybe just one solid color.
The great thing is, you can definitely change up the colors on top but the bottom 'birds of feathers' are unique to this pattern.
The construction is simple and there are no shaping in the sweater. The body is worked with the front and back being the same and then seamed together. The Sleeves are crocheted directly on with minimal shaping.
