Hi! Thanks for dropping by my blog! Today's tutorial is on Crochet Picot Stitches (Right and Left hand). In the video tutorial, I go over 2 different types of Picot Stitches. There are so many different types of Picot stitches but I will focus on the 3 chain and 5 chain Picot Stitch. Just as it sounds, the 3 chain Picot Stitch is worked by chaining 3 and the other, by chaining 5.
For this tutorial, I used Darn Good Yarn's Worsted Silk Yarn in the Color Crimson Fire.

Abbreviations
Ch – Chain
St(es) – Stitch(es)
Sc – Single Crochet
Stitch Pattern Notes
The Picot stitch is usually worked on an edge of a project. To set up for the tutorial, I will work 2 rows of single crochet sts.
Foundation: Ch any number of sts
1sc in 2ndch from hook and every ch across.
Row 1:ch1, turn, 1sc in every st across.
How to crochet the Picot Stitch
At the end of your project (whatever it is you're working on)
ch1 *1sc in next st, ch 3, work 1 sc in the first ch (3rd ch from hook). Repeat from * across.
This example is just one of many variations of Picot Stitches. If you'd liked the Picot closer, then this is pretty much worked in every stitch. If you wanted them further apart, you'd increase the number of sc its in your row.
