Hi everyone! Today's pattern & video is on this pretty scarf! It is the Liana Scarf. It looks more complicated than it looks! There's only a 2-row repeat.

SKILL LEVEL – Intermediate
NOTES – Pattern is written in US terms. You can add fringe or choose not too although both options result in the same length. All measurements are approx.
Reserve approx 67 yards if you are adding fringe.
Row 1 (wrong side): ch 33, 1sc into the 2nd ch from the hook and into each ch across. Turn. 32 sts
Note: To adjust, ch in multiples of 6 + 3 until you are happy with the width of the ch sts as this will represent the width of your scarf.
Row 2: ch 6 (counts as 1 tr tr st), sk3 sts, 1 tr tr in each of the next 3 sts. 1tr tr in each of the 3 skipped sts working in front of the previous tr tr sts. Rep from * until last st. 1 tr tr in the last st. Turn. 32 sts.
Row 3: ch1, 1sc in each st across. Turn. 32 sts.
Repeat rows 2 & 3 until you have a total of 87 rows (74 rows if you are adding fringe). Fasten off.
FRINGE | Approx. 67 yards
Cut 12 sets of 14” long strands. Fold the strands in half and run it through the space between the edge tr tr sts & in the space between each set of tr tr sts.
Fold the 14 strands in half. On the right side of your work, insert the folded side from top to bottom into the space you want to run the fringe through. Then, insert the ends of the strands through the folded part and gently tighten.
FINISHING
Trim fringe and weave in all ends.
