Hi everyone! Thanks for dropping in! Recently I posted a video for unboxing the Lion Brand's "I wanna make a blankie" yarn. Instead of designing a pattern myself, I decided to use the pattern that is provided on the label. This way, when you purchase the yarn, you already have the pattern!
I purchased the Mizzie color and Lion Brand sent me the Zinnia and Calluna colors. You can purchase them from Lion Brand Yarns, select Walmart Stores or on Walmart.com.
I started a project making a Tunisian Blanket in the color Mizzie for my son but then he saw the Calluna and really wanted the "rainbow" color instead. I wanted a looser and larger blanket so I used a larger needle size but following the same pattern on the yarn label. It really is just your basic corner to corner pattern. So, it's a perfect project for beginners. My blanket measured 46 x 46".
